Folds to about a foot, opens on the button before you are out the door.
The compact models open and close on one button, so you can step out of a car or a doorway with one hand free. Folded, the ten rib umbrella is about 12.8 inches, which puts it in a laptop bag pocket or a glove box. The canopy fabric is a tight 210T weave with a water-repellent coating that sheds a shake before you put it away.
The rib count tells you how the canopy behaves in wind: ten fiberglass ribs make a rounder, stiffer canopy, eight and nine keep the umbrella lighter. The multi-packs are the same umbrella two or four times, for the car, the office and the front door.
All 18 of them are part of the ZOMAKE lineup; the specs on each card are the ones on its own page.
